I agree with the poster who said to relist the item. I also think you are wise to be suspicious. I call possible scam on this one, however even if it may not be, its just not worth your risk losing $$s and feeling dejected when/if it goes wrong.

I've had odd things happen with buyers and in my case my item was super popular, so all I did is abandon the transaction and relist it. It sold second time around and paid with no issue.

If you are selling a pink and green stripped underwater basket weavers kit then you may not have many buyers. If your item is sought after, I'd move on.
