Haha! Nichrome wire is the heating element used in dew heaters, toasters, electric blankets etc. Can be bought very cheap over ebay or at Jaycar and the likes. So if you were to use this with some fabric+velcro and sow it all together (imagine a dew heater band but customised to you to wear), you could have a very cheap and effective heater
Would just need to sort out power, either via a 12V plugpack/cigarette lighter or a portable battery pack you can charge phones with etc.
