Hi Mike - can you please cancel my order for a single copy please? I'll get one though M.A.S. which will be less trouble for you posting one out to me.

Thanks though!

Cheers
Chris

No worries Chris, this thread is just gauging interest so nothing is confirmed.

I'd really like to know exactly what price we're talking about before I could commit. If postage to Qld is going to make it more expensive than a local purchase I possibly wouldn't buy through IIS, much as I'd love to and as much as I think it is a great idea.

At present I've voted in the "maybe, not sure right now" category.

I expect postage will be around $3, in a prepaid envelope.

Last year, I sold the books for $23 posted to your door. They retail for $24 in shops.

I don't know what the cost will be this year yet, as Quasar haven't finalised their bulk-buy costs yet.

Thanks Mike - at that kind of pricing I'm definitely in. I'm happy even to pay a little more all up than standard shop price, if it means supporting IIS, and the convenience of delivery appeals to me too.

I'm not sure if I can change my vote in the poll now so you may have to take that into account.

Cheers!

I'd like to order a copy please if you don't mind posting to S.A. It can be hard to get in the country and a couple of years I missed out.

Rapidfire,

It should start to make its appearance around the end of October. The proofs from Quasar Publishing are sitting on my desk right now for me to check.

It goes to print in a week's time (heck, so does the Nov/Dec issue of Australian Sky & Telescope - my first issue as Editor - busy week!).
