I wonder if I could add this to my lunt for a triple stack? Or as a double stack because the DSII can suffer from reflections.

Yes, it will. If the scope has a 2" or 1.25" focuser, the Quark fits.

Chris, I don't know if the Quark can be used as part of a double or triple stack.

Technical specs can be found on the Daystar Quark site:

Been reading up on these & of course have become obsessed! I have a SW Black Diamond ED80 that is crying out for one of these.

What's the cheapest that people have seen? Not interested in the used one on OptCorp.

Do I need anything in addition to the Quark for imaging with a DSLR?

Hi Steve,

Impressive shots.

1. What processing/ setting for the shots?
2. How do the shot compare with what is seen at the Eyepiece Visually?

Cheers

Phil,
Best 25 of 200 frames and default processing in Autostakkert.
The proms were boosted a bit in PS but were from the same video.
Colour added in PS.
Other than being ruby red rather than yellow, I would say that the full disk image is pretty close to the (40mm) eyepiece view. As the magnification goes up, the contrast goes down. This raw frame is probably closer to what you'd see at higher mag.

I haven't been able to use it for quite a while and my memory is pretty dodgy at the best of times. If others think I've over/understated, please say so.

Steve.
