that's great to hear Brent; looking forward to some before and after pics. it could help encourage other to persist through the difficult processing times we all suffer!

A very over processed M42. None of the nebula dust or lanes were visible in the original and Running Man was almost invisible after my last processing attempt. I've even managed to retain some of the core detail which normally gets lost in the whiteout from stretching.

This is from a very early imaging attempt, unguided with 30 sec exposures with an older camera than my current setup.

I've pushed this very hard just to see what was in the data.
