This is gonna be my first time with IISers therefore I'm really looking forward to it

Hi Michael,

Usually it's around $5 each.

Alex, you weren't kidding about the sparks trailing the vehicle. Matt called in tonight to drop of some astro goodies (I think the Gaunt mount was homesick ...) it was nice to see the enormous effort Matt had put into the completion of the mount I started the recommissioning on back in Jindabyne.

Yes, the car is packed to the rafters with astro paraphernalia, yet Matt found room to personally deliver some goodies for me.

Hoping for a clear Sunday night at Katoomba !!!

Edit: I am actually feeling guilty for not offering a loan of my MB van for Matt for his trip to Sydney.

Bah! Can't do the Sunday night slot, but hope you all get clear skies, once the shield of cloud from TC Marcia moves away. Love the van image Alex

Just spoke with Rod. It rained all night last night, and has been raining all day today. Wind is from the East, and that only means one thing - cloud

Sorry Matt old mate. Hope to see you at my place during the week then. Otherwise safe trip back home,

Thems the breaks in this hobby we share

I will be over to your place during the week for sure

At least I know how to pull the hole thing apart and that it does fit in the car easily, and all is not wasted as I'm off to see Gary re Argo Navis on Tuesday

Folks, while Katoomba is a bust for us tonight, it is clearing here on the coast. If it stays this way, ol' Wavytone has suggested we can go to Killara Oval tonight.

If it is clear, I'll be looking to head over around 8pm. I'll be taking my trusty ol' C8 and an astro video camera. I've tried my new camera with a 114mm scope, but not yet with my C8.

Maybe will see you there.
