Great to see you guys getting some shots in. Nothing here but trees and a quick glimps out the bedroom window.

The Photos are Great, but none quite match the experience at the eyepiece do they ?
The distinct "Bite" out of the moon that you see visually is quite graphic !

These are my two images. Taken with the 350D using the 75-300mm zoom at max. In the over-exposed shot you can just make out some features in the eclipsed part; Plato and Sinus Iridum can be spotted.

Peter.

PS the over-exposed image has had the horrendous blue chromatic abberation (caused by the 75-300 lens) removed.

Hi guys,

From Kuala Lumpur, the weather isn't that great either. Some thin clouds are covering everything everywhere, but luckily the moon still look presentable. Photo using Sony Mavica FD97, at 1/500sec f/2.8. Too lazy to setup tripod, just hand held.
