wonder how it will turn out shooting M16 with O-III and HA filter? colours willl be very close to hubbles. I'm waiting for that day to see it scott

The reality is that I said to Scott he has total control for a whole year, so even I cannot change this. You are still young Ezy, just wait a bit.
Meanwhile PM me if you want to borrow any lenses for your new 350D.

cheers bert. thanks for your kindnesss. was just teasing as always im having a ball with my standard 18-55mm lense. until i really get sick of it


just found a shot of M16 with HA and O-III .

Here is one of mine. It is H alpha saturated. It was taken through a Hutech nebula filter.

Its a great image of M16.
I have seen that red dot on the left of M16 with my 10" and a UHC filter.
Its part of NGC 6604.
