be careful to only post astronomy photos in the astronomy sections and terrestrial ones in the terrestrial section

i am missing a good blowing of steam and a good laugh, no jetstream, but cloud followed by no cloud and lotsa jetstream.

as vingo points out "gee i want to try this with better seeing!!!", and he is spot on!

bring on some decent weather!!!!

Mr. Vingo,

I hope you don't mind but I ran your pic thru Registax as a single Bitmap image.

Then I ran it thru PaintShop Pro. All I did was: Greyscale, Soften, Despeckle.

It came out a bit better for you.

looks even better as a thumbnail
i gave it another go myself with heavier waveletting and got more detail but it looked even specklier.

I do intend on re shooting this crater... along with one never posted here or lpod!

Yeah David, get a pic of a crater on the other side of the Moon. I haven't seen anyone post one of those yet

Yes, Gruemberger, a wonderful delicacy of San Merino, the only cheese in the world made from rodents (Geneolepus insignis).
