Best wishes to all.

Though I think the Gaia types appear somewhat envious that they don't have their own festive day.
Cheers,
Renato

The Christmas tree is a pagan tradition. Jesus (as a man) was not born on the 25th of December. But people keep buying stuff they don't need (and others don't need either) because the retailers brainwash them. Then they run around with horns on their heads humming carols. Many presents end up in OP shops soon after Christmas because they are unwanted. A huge paper waste too... BAHHHHH HUMBUG!!!!!
PS: I still remember I never got what I wanted for Christmas as a child because my family seemed to think I wanted something to put on, while I wanted books or a telescope or a microscope, just not something selected by others to put on!!! As a nerd I never wanted to follow trends etc., but wanted to be myself, so I am the only one who can select what I want to put on.

Happy New Year though!

Had a wonderful Christmas Eve with my beautiful wife, my children and my new granddaughter. Lots of traditional Finnish delicacies, lots of chocolate and Moet&Chandon .......

Scored well on the gift front too with a pristine copy of Hartung's and a new Garmin GPS..........

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Day today........ we are just going to chill ........

Oh and to those of you who believe the Earth is round and other new age stuff, have an enjoyable 'whatever you choose to believe in' day
