A beautiful image Hugh! Excellent detail and pleasing colour. I don't mind the orientation but do prefer 90deg CCW. I usually experiment ... when you get the right composition it jumps out at you!

Great galaxy photo Hugh no matter which way you look at it.

Yeah I'm a big fan of adding some Ha to galaxy images. After seeing how much the Ha helped when I did M83 I knew I had to grab some for this one, in fact I have some LRGB for NGC300 ready to go too but I'm not going to process it until I have a chance to grab a nights worth of Ha for it
