Seems like the preemptive rates rise in June was to accommodate for the planned drop in July but still the rates now should be the same as the rates before the June rise or close to that. My rates haven't changed a bit. All I got is an extra deduction pre GST of 4 bucks. Not what I was expecting. I'll be on the phone on Monday having a chat then a couple of emails and try to figure out what's going on. No doubt the same BS is happening across the board regardless of who supplies, which deep down we all knew would happen...
Will wait next bill. They're in the process of splitting gas and electricity which is an update in their billing system so it's all over the place at the moment. I don't know about gas yet but next power bill drop will be around 2c/kWh (~7.84%) backdated from 1st of July probably implemented mid September onwards, SAG stays. Will be interested to see what others get in other states. These figures are NSW only anytime fixed rate.
