Easy way to tell Paul is if your scope has 'Takahashi' in blue on the dew shield it is an 'N' if it is in red it is a 'ED'.

N is fluorite Paul, and has 114mm OTA diameter. ED, EDX, EDXIII has ED glass of course (x2) and has 125mm OTA diameter.

I think ALL the N's also had blue titling on the dewshield, whereas the ED's have red. The N came with fixed dewshield or later, the FSQ106N (kai) which introduced the retractable one.

The N is the most desireable, as the star images are tighter and less halo/flare due to the fluorite elements not scattering the light as much.

As to Hans statement, well, Peter is right - libel is a harsh mistress. Leave him to be devoured by the blatant lies and fraudulent activity he expounds in great abundance. It WILL eventually catch up to him.

I never really cared so long as it was an FSQ106. I remember something being said about the model but the FSQ part was what I was after.

Thanks again everyone, especially the NUMEROUS people that emailed and messaged me with rather alarming details regarding this dealer. Shocking indeed.

I have placed an order for what I want elsewhere.
