You're probably breaking the rules by even looking at these threads Matt, but I suspect you secretly enjoy being a bad boy?

Nothing about silencing freedom, criticism etc.

Well, I look at this forum (and others) like this. In my home I set the rules. If I invite other people into my home and they break those rules, I have the right to censor them, or simply kick them out. Those who break the rules cannot rufuse to leave because I am "silencing" their freedom. I made the rules when they entered my home.

Forums like IIS have rules which all members chose to accept upon joining. It may be a "public" forum on the outside to many, but in the end it it owned and operated by someone who sets the rules. don't like them? Go elsewhere. I have.

Perhaps it is the word 'more' at the end that encompasses the discussion on sex, drugs, politics and rock&roll

Brian,

if you look at the front screen, in the Blue Bannered section heading for the General Astonomy section, it says "General Astronomy Chat", under the main "General Astronomy" heading in that blue headline/banner.

But in the General Astronomy section itself, the General Chat portion is labelled just that - General Chat!

Just my 2c
