Incredible detail Ray!

So this is just your 10" f/4 with CCD?
If so even more amazing, your SX H694
must be a good match.

I'm imaging the bug right now, quite happy with the scale I'm getting with eye piece projection, 15mm 63 deg apparent field swan eye piece and of course my trusty unmodded canon 1100D plus 8" f/4 astroraph.

Shall post it ( Good or bad ) later tonight.

Cheers,

Justin.

Thanks justin. Yep, this is the Skywatcher 250f4 CF - a pretty good match for the H694 at 0.91 arcsec/pixel. Very interested to see how you go with EP projection - this thing is bright enough to allow some magnification if the seeing is good.

Nice one...

A similar nebular in the same general area which is worth a go but pretty much universally ignored:
Minkowski's Butterfly
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetary_Nebula_M2-9

There is a cool time lapse of the precessing jet sweeping an arc through the nebula on that page.

Thanks Clive - will give it a try when the clouds clear. thanks for the suggestion. Agree the precessing jet is cool - if only we could get that sort of resolution..
