The show was brilliant. And as you can see from the photos it wasn't just us who got to meet them
But I love that they take the time to meet the fans.

Is that bar in the UFO Death Valley place the one they used in the film "Paul" with Simon Pegg?

It certainly looks like it, doesn't it. The clientele look friendlier, though.

Seeing Paul made me want to put such a trip on my bucket list. Seeing these photos makes me want to do that even more.

It's the very same one. But the interior shots were filmed elsewhere.
My travelling companions took more photos of the interior. The owner of the bar was very adamant that any photos taken were for personal use only. if they were to be published, she charged a fee.

Kevin, I got to meet Thomas Bopp too!! He was on the Comet panel with David Levy, Padma Fisher (JPL) and Paul Weissman (JPL)

Do you honestly think I kept quiet?? LOL They encourage question time after the panel has finished.
I hit Padma up with a question about how amateurs can contribute to cometary science, which is of course her speciality, so she got a chance to share her views as well.
