Hmm, we have a "Forum Runaway" akin to a chain reaction or nuclear meltdown. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this? Can you advise me of the correct steps to take?

My last words, as my sides are painfully hurting from way too much laughing.

Cheers

Dennis

Leon, its thread titles that get to me - not the content of the thread, that doesnt bother me, i'm just as bad in that department as anyone, but thread titles, thats like the book cover title being misspelt to me,

Advise Mike to have a spelling link added, followed with photon torpedos for the incorrect usage for the benefit of Mr Fringy (who is quite correct on this issue)

No Kearn you have brought to life what was a boring afternoon for me...for this I thank you.

Anything else your not happy with: maybe the black writting..how about Vings Cow....I got it....the amount of times "the" is used in a sentance.

Fringy.

Maaaaate!

It's not that I don't know where you're coming from and the point you're making. I make a living out of the written word and spend most of my day editing the stuff.

But I don't come to this forum with an editor's eye. Otherwise I'd spend the entire time hearing fingernails being drawn down blackboards

I think there's a danger of making this great place less inviting and welcoming when we head down this path?

How many people lurking on the fringes could be potentially discouraged from joining up if they think something like the mistaken use of "advise" or "advice" could potentially cause ire??

It's just my opinion, but it seems a little dictatorial.

Sorry, but that's how I see it.
