Thanks

Thanks for having me last night, pity we lost the sky after a promising start. When I arrived home just after 1 it was clear at Epping so I set up in the backyard until 3:30. Magically clear and the best seeing I've had at home. The heavy dew finished about 2am. Spent my time looking in Crux and Centaurus. Thanks again for the advice, friendliness, viewing and alcohol.

Pleasure to have you on board Matt and glad you had a good time.
Pity about the sky bombing out so early but wasn't too bad up until stumps, and good that you got some better seeing in at home later. Great sharp shot there John.
It was good to also catch up with the regulars for the last gathering this year and what more can I say but 'clear skies for 2014'.
Happy and safe New Year to all.

That's a beautiful picture John, nice little horsie there as well. What gear did you use?

Sorry I wasn't there, all the Christmas riff raff are still at my house. See you next year though.

John, I looked through your other photos. Your moon pics are great, and that wider field Centaurus A looks really cool. Thanks for sharing.
