Fantastic image Marco. You are one of my favorite astrophotographers. Apart from the superb quaility of your images, I really appreciate that you image the lesser known objects. I always look forward to your next project.

Regards,
Tony.

Stunning image! What a good idea to capture that area. It is in the shadow of M42, Horsehead and so on. But wrongly! So many details and beautiful colors, great work!

Simply sublime work Marco, and great choice of target. It is a very interesting and colourful area. Thanks for highlighting these overlooked gems of Orion. If I had to choose I would prefer the crop.

Thanks David, I too love keeping stars not too sharp to preserve their natural look, happy you like it too

Thanks Paul, happy you appreciate it. Can't wait to see what is in your pipe

Thanks Tony, going out of the path often brings some pleasant results, there is so much out there!

Thanks Rolf, give it a shot with your scope, you have a great setup to bring out some fine details of this area!

Clear skies

Cheers Marco, it's definitely on my list. Might be a bit too late this season because Orion disappears behind some trees to the north here, but next time it comes around I'll be ready
