My pier is now under construction, Ive bucked the trend with alt az adjustments, by putting these at the bottom of the pier and making a shroud to cover these adjusters, tends to a very tidy clean look,,anybody here done that, with without too much fuss, are there any shortfalls in this approach ?..aside from stooping ...

Hi Paul,
Great Idea, I considered Class 16 Poly filled with sand, but to get the rigidity I needed to make it permanent like you have ! Well Done.
I'm hoping to sell up and move over the next year, so portability was important. Mine is currently out in our workshop, awaiting me and time ! Poly would have been darned quicked too !
