Thanks Chris.

Yes this one was a bit of a marathon for me. I am finding there is quite a bit of waste when doing these longer exposures over several nights. Clouds interrupting only one colour, taking the camera off for a trip to the dark site and reattach without fresh flats leading to inaccurate callibration etc etc. I probably was only able to use 75% of the images taken perhaps less.

impressive image Greg - colour in particular is excellent.

It sure is a good feeling to battle your way through varied data and then, at the very end, realise that you actually do have something of real value. regards ray

Thanks Ray. Yes you are right there. It was a struggle and I am thankful to such powerful processing software that we have available. Amazing.

Thanks Rex. Yes that spiral is a very pretty galaxy. I have another image of another beautiful spiral galaxy but I am still processing it and adding data to it.
