A benchmark Eta for sure. Actually I'm still impressed by your 2005 12.5" RCOS effort totalling 50mins exposure integration time. I've still got the S&T mag of it. That was certainly a benchmark back then so its good to see you continue put a stake in the ground with this one. Well done Peter.

Hi Peter,
Some really tight stars in there.
I looked at your old version of this image with less data here:
http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery140.html
I cropped a small section around the keyhole of both images.
I hope you don't mind?
The older version has more detail & is sharper.
Is this your processing or just the different size image in terms of MBytes?

It's OK, I'm used to to people going over my images with a fine-tooth comb. Guess I've imaged it more than once......
Different data set, different seeing....also the last version is scaled down quite a bit.... lots of reasons there...

Ta Josh.
I'll be under the radar for a week or two, with spotty internet access.... so I may not be able to respond/answer questions, but " thank you" to one and all for you input and feedback on this one.

The iPad version of this looks more 3D than the view on my laptop. Colour also looks great on the iPad too. Tight stars too.
