I saw officeworks has a gas lift stool for $79. It goes quite high and it has wheels.

I find gas lift chairs or bar stools lacking in adjustment range and not very useful with an EQ mounted scope. They appear quite suitable for 8-12" Dobs, however.

The Bintel chairs are great, very solid and well made as you find out when you trip over it in the dark. I recall that they are made in Japan.
