Thats an Unreal Compo Carlos, & very well captured indeed
The foreground is in focus, as with the stars, so I must inquire wether you used a very small appeture/F/stop or two exposures just for curiosity as this is unique in its representation for this duck
Skillfull stuff either way

Great shot, very lovely.

regarding the heat packs, I found a box of 80 on ebay that I got delivered for $40, so all up $0.50 each. They arent the 10 hour ones, but 8 hours and definitely do easily last the 8 hours.

I will find the details if anyone is interested.

That sounds like a bargain, certainly don't need 10hrs, 8hrs is enough in my opinion. That would be great if you could provide some links

Cheers Michael! For sure, I took this one around 4am a few week ago! Just drive slow and make sure you don't hit any wildlife, plenty of wombats, wallabies and kangaroos at that time.
