Hi Jen, yes I got two tickets as I will be going with Ron.

Hubby backed out saying there's no way he's paying more than $50 to see Brian

. Would not budge the measly $25 more either for the $75 tickets, nope, I tried hard!
I've got to admit that along with others I too am surprised at the cost of the tickets. I tried to get the $75 ones on pre-sale but they were all sold out so I had to end up getting the $115 tickets. And that's nothing compared to the A Res. tickets of $155 and premium tickets of $195. The $350 price tag to meet him package is just down right insulting in my opinion.
I like Brian but on grounds that he's commanding such high ticket prices for a science talk (!), it put me off and I was spitting chips that I had to pay more than $75. If he wasn't commanding so much money with the rest of the tickets, I wouldn't had a problem paying the $115. But I definitely wouldn't have been paying more than $130. If I wasn't able to get the $115 tickets & had to pay more I wouldn't be going and I'd have no regrets.
I only pay $150 for Springsteen concerts for goodness sake, which is a full on no break 3 hour concert.
Brian better talk for more than an hour, educate me well, and look ridiculously good, is all I have to say.
Tanty over

.
Am I narrow minded regarding the cost of the tickets? I'm seriously open to being educated here if anyone's got any input into why they may be so expensive.
