These type of programs have been around for years and most of them were provided with a learn mode to supplement their databases.

Has anyone who beat it tried to start anew to see whether it has learnt from its mistakes.

It failed on Fred Watson after about 4 guesses and over 100 questions.

It should - I stumped it with Fred at the weekend and gave it the data it needed to update its database.

Hopefully it won't be long till it asks whether your character is an astronomer or astrophysicist.
