Technology... I try to be as non-techno-yuppie as is humanly possible.
I do NOT own a wrist watch. Not for the last 10 years. Not even the hint of a tan line there anymore.
Phones - BEGRUDGINGLY use a Sony Ericsson modern touch screen thing. Until September last year, I still used my Nokia phone - it was nigh on 8 years old. Charge the battery, it will last a week, with use! It now sits in the glovebox of the car as an emergency phone, seeing I KNOW it will work (there was an entire year with it being off once - turned it on, battery still full!!!)
RELUCTANTLY stepped up to a laptop, after running desktop all my life. Don't regret that! Desktop is still here, and I turn it on every week to keep it alive, but ...

Power bill dropped enormously too with it off!
Several DSLR's, all Canon. Nikon and I don't see eye to lens very well for some reason. Just a preference I guess.
Never found a raging desire for gadgetry and technology. Whatever. WHen I feel I need it, I will buy it. Bought another 2 TB external HD yesterday for example - we also looked at 3D TV's, considered a second, and said no - we don't watch TV AT ALL apart from kid's TV shows for Miss 4, so why worry?
Walked into an Apple shop yesterday. Felt like I was in a Telstra shop... walked out again
