Don't play any board games, but I am VERY partial to all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R PC game series - VERY immersive!

Only PC game I have EVER kept on my system after finishing it - I have replayed the entire series MULTIPLE times now.

Metro 2033 (made by the same team, now split into two factions) is GOOD - just does not grab me as much.

If they redid the earlier CoD series with the newer graphics etc, I'd be into those again.

But my all time favourite - and this ages me - was the entire Zork series. They lost a LOT of the "magic" when they went from script style to graphics based.

Yes Settlers is the it game that exploded in 1995, and really opened up the superb European board games to English publishers. Interesting to hear about the Pirates expansion coming out soon, nearly 20 years on.

I'm not much into computer games. Favourite computer games are probably

Freecell
Spider Solitaire
Mahjongg

I do have a soft spot for the Wii though. Any computer game that can result in injury has to be a good thing!

Of the board games my favourites would be:

Bananagrams
Boggle
Scrabble
Balderdash
Rummy King

Others:
Sudoku
Cryptic crosswords
Edit: I forgot the numbers part of Letters and Numbers!

Al.

On the PC I enjoy a good RPG, my favourite is the Never Winter Nights series.

For board games it has to be Chess

For outdoor games it has to be a round of Golf with my mates.

PS3 is Rainbow Six, Skyrim, Oblivion, Battlefield, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Everybodies Golf, to name a few.

PC is iRacing, GTR2, Formula 1 2012(2011, CE) where we have our own simulator that I built myself with a G27 wheel and specced and built my own computer to run the games.

Got Doctor Who monopoly for Xmas so that should be good. My friends won't play board games with me anymore though, cause I always finish at/near the front.

No computer games now. I did play the puzzle type games like Myst in the past but have lost interest in them. Never liked the shooting games.

haven't played a board game since Bob Hawke was prime minister.
