And i will add have had some sucess with it to. let me mull over it (kick a few tyres etc). Saw the other one go for 100$ on here and almost chewed on the tyre but all these nice deals when i am on a budget.

So the NexImage is still up for grabs.

$130 ... and the whole shebang's yours.
G'Day Matt,
Pity you didn't "batter" with me when I offered you $100 straight off, when you first posted the sale, I would have went to $130 even though one sold for $100 on here a few days before

"Batter" with you. That can still be arranged, if you insist

Mate. I simply couldn't be bothered. The price was reasonable and I was happy with where it was set.

Pity you didn't up your offer straight away when I indicated $100 was too low. Perhaps you could have initiated the "bartering" process? Keep in mind I'm the one who owns the item. I'll set the price where I think it's fair and reasonable... and we'll take it from there. But you didn't come back at me with a revised offer?

Also keep in mind this item was "up for grabs" for several days. There were opportunities to jump in and buy it.

And if someone wants to flog their cam off for $100 or any other Bargain Basement price, well that's their decision... but I'm not bound by that nor should you use that as a pricing yardstick.

Good luck ... and happy battering!

Cheers

G'Day Matt,
I don't want to get into a war of words with you, lets just say you wanted $150 plus postage,I offered $100 plus postage, from that moment on the ball is in your court, and as far as the "pricing yard stick" goes we all use that as a base, ie what the going price is at the time. The fact that it was still for sale or as you put "up for grabs for several days" must have ring a few bells. lets leave it at that. and as the Yanks say"You have a nice day"
Good Luck

If you don't want to get into a war of words, don't keep posting

Yes... i originally wanted $150... you offered $100. I told you that was too low.

I then publically, through the forum, adjusted my price for all to see, including YOU, and someone else beat you to it.

I don't see what I've done wrong here other than not keep you privately, personally abreast of my every move on the sale of MY camera.

I am under no obligation to "haggle" or "barter" with you. Period!

I graciously declined your offer (I have kept our PM exchanges which show I made it quite clear I was seeking a higher price) and continued to sell through the forum, giving everyone a chance to view my pricing adjustments.

And again, I'm the one setting the price of what I'm selling, not you.

You didn't get back to me with an offer closer to what I was happy with ... so I continued through the forum. The cam sold in a couple of days. No alarm bells ringing whatsoever... and for a few $$$ below the original asking price.

I'm happy ... the buyer is happy ... we're all happy ... except you

Now that is case closed.

Good luck yourself!
