See back in the land that spawned me, that's only something one would say after a few pints (proper imperial ones not these tiny metric ones ) down the pub

I'd be prepared to host another sessionthis Friday night, Feb 28, in time for the weekend new Moon. If you are interested please let me know here or via PM.
Again, I'll be going over a lot of material, so I don't mind if you take notes. The forecast for Friday night isn't great at this time, but still bring your scope so we can give it a good shake down. Things I can go over include collimation, how our eyes work and observing tips, brief run down on setting up an eq mount (I have only some experience with these, but I can get you up and running), eyepieces 1.25" and 2" what's the diff and what's works and what doesn't, and exit pupil - what it is and how to use it, filters, getting good mechanical performance out of one's mount.
And as last time, bring some bikkies to munch on.
Mental.

Reason: more info
The date has been changed for the next beginners session to next week, Friday 7th of March, at my place in Maroubra. Starting time around 9pm to give folks time for dinner.
If you would like to come, let me know via PM so I can send you details.
I'm happy to have you two over as well. But if there is any threat of ran, "the thing that cannot be named" will also become "the thing that cannot be seen".
Thanks again, Alex, Adrian and Nick for being patient and giving that crash course to newbies like me. Having poor conditions that night with small windows through the clouds was all part of the rush.
