240 (now 241) posts even before the camp starts! Is that a record?

Safe travels to all of you. I'll think of you from the conference table that I will be be at all weekend.

Haven't raised the BSG with the SWMBO yet. With a trip to Hawaii and being in Snake Valley for my birthday this Sat. thought I might wait for a suitable time to mention it!!

Paddy, that's no good at all - hope you're better soon. You're gunna miss out on all the Princess Misako updates on Saturday night!

Well, the ute is packed to the gunwales and I'm just waiting for the clock to tick over to a semi respectable time to leave.I have a nagging feeling I've left something behind but hopefully compenstated by the many multiples of other tings I've brought along.

Ken - start the sunshine dance......now

Don't panic about the weather, guys!

I've practically guaranteed good weather by purchasing stylish cold weather gear which I can't wait to wear on the weekend. I swear, it's a solid gold guarantee that it will be clear and warm ALL WEEKEND LONG.

PS. Post 248 before camp started. I bet Ken's not even AWAKE yet

I just love positive thoughts, no negative vibes here.

See you all Saturday.

Bad luck Patrick, was looking forward to a little late-night astro-philosophy! Hope you get rid of the stone quickly (and painlessly!).

Cheers -

James,

folks up at SV probably won't check this thread regularly, and I'm about to head off so won't be around for extra questions - but if it helps...

I checked the forecast yesterday as Melbourne looked pretty grotty for most of the day. I worried for the SV guys, but Jen posted on facebook that they'd had clear skies up at SV. Keep checking the forecast, it looks to be clearing up towards Monday. Even if you don't get in a full night of astronomy if clouds roll in, we do have lots of fun anyway. Crazy bunch, they are

The addy you have given is for the club rooms, that is not where the camp is... you need to go to CRYSTAL LAKE CABINS, directions on the website.

http://www.crystallakecabins.com.au/about.html

Once you get to the Snake Valley sign in the town, Ken thoughtfully puts up signs directing you to the astro camp, so keep an eye out for them

Good luck deciding, might see you up there

With a deep sigh I am sadly have to say I will not be comming after all to the Snake Valley Camp. I am sorry to have said I was going and now not, but i do not feel it's best this time around. I look froward to seeing you all how ever in November at the next Astoronomy camp.

Yours sincerely Serceina.
