LP Filter And Photography

Good day to all

I have bought a Baader Neodymium Filter LP, I have been informed that my exposure time for astro photography has to be adjusted to accommodate the light loss.

Does anybody know of a formula that is used for this purpose, or has anyone experience with this question?

I have sorted my drift alignment, thank you for all the help, I now get +- 8 min tracking with very little drift on my eq5 mount and do 60 to 90 sec exposures without egg shape stars.

Thank you for your time and help

Andre

just start doubling your exposure time and check your histogram andre, that would be a good start
