hey

Thought I should introduce my self as I have been lurking around this site for awhile and have compiled quite a few ideas
I reaciently purchased a 127mm skywatcher on a eq3 goto mount. took a while to work out how to set up but this forum has helped a great deal
the only problem I have come across is when I aline the 3 star alingnment using the hand controler to slew to a star it is ever so slow (I could have a nap waiting for the scope to move to position)
by the way Name is Max
great forum i look forward to reading more articals

Hi Max , great starter scope you have there . Try pushing the number 9 on the paddle as it is slewing , that should put it to MAX . speed of1024x sounds like it is in 32x or 64x speed or so.
Brian.

Lucky you Max , It's the middle of the wet season up here so star gazing is a very hit and miss affair, but it looks good tonight and if it stays that way I might take in Jupiter , Mars and Venus.
Brian.
