secrets of digital bird photography

Just came across this site today. It's like an online textbook for bird photography. Thought some here might be interested.

Noticed in the lenses section he talks about using small telescopes, Mak and SCT to get the focal length.

The photos on that guy's page are out of this world.

Simply the best bird photography I've ever seen. Damn!

I can't say that it's my favourite form of photography, but, how can these not take your breath away?

The Canon 1D Mark III, in a master's hands, makes incredible images.

Unreal.

They are fantastic photos, H. The pelican looks like it just stepped in a pooh. Classic

Great Site Troy!
Not that I'm into Bird Photography, but the detailed steps and comments will be useful once I read it all.

I forwarded this link to some friends of mine who are yet to admit that they're really "twitchers".

They were very impressed by his work - started prattling off names of birds and where they'd seen them...

They thank you for posting it.

Very comprehensive, isn't it. Glad there's some interest. I've also spent some time going through it, but will have to go back again.
