Gft to mal

hello members
i was wndering if anybody has experience in fitting a losmandy MAL adaptor to the meade GFT?
i have both and only one hole seems to align however it seems to be off so that the gemini computer does not sit between any two tripod legs!
i was under the impression that it would be a perfect fit as it was made to go together
would it still if necessary be ok to drill more holes in the MAL?

Hi Pat.

As nobody seems to have been able to answer your question yet, I thought I would have a wild stab in the dark for you...

I know absolutely zero about such adaptions, but trying to relate it to other things; is there some kind of conversion plate required to suit your specific model of adaptor?

Just throwing it out there...

(drilling holes sounds nasty)

Good luck.
