my eq5 has gone mad


i took my eq5 and 8inch skywatcher dob tube on a holiday, across australia, throught the desert tracks, anne beadle hwy, coober pedy, lake ayre camrons corner byron bay,
and back. now i am back in perth.
my eq5 has lost its way, sirus is under the ground, and nothing is where it is supposed to be. help!!!!!
things i have done to figure this out.
have got a compas and got the leg marked north, pointing directly south.
i have the right date, mmddyyyy.
and time, utc8+.
have aprox 32deg for perth set with a protractor,
run out of ideas. don't really know what to do now.

Do you have to put the 32 degrees into the controller? might need to be -32 degrees for Perth. Only thing I can think of from the provided information.

There is an option there someplace, to do a factory reset. Might be worth trying that and putting all the local data back in.
