Do UV/IR filters block incoming Ha signals to the imaging chip? Where do I find decent graphs of different wavelengths of filters etc, that are reputable?
The "normal" UV-IR cut off filters (Baader etc) have a definate transmission between 400nm and 700nm. Let's maximum amount of Ha etc through without the problems if IR halo's.
Unfortunately the 400nm cut-off doesn't allow UV imaging ( spectroscope) of the H&K Ca lines.....

I never used the UV/IR with the Ha filter. Stars don't really bloat in Ha so I wouldn't worry about it. Oiii is another matter though.
