Telescope cases

Hello.

I’ve just recently been drawn back into astronomy after a break of about 10 years. I found this forum when researching a new scope a couple of months back and it’s helped me heap.

I bought a 8 inch SCT and an HEQ5 Pro mount (which unfortunately just died on me and is getting repaired).

During the downtime, I’ve been looking at getting a cases to store the scope and mount when not in use. I can’t leave it set up due to small kiddies in the house and dogs in the garage.

I’ve been looking at buying cases and the option of just building them.

Does anyone have any recommendations for cases?

Thanks,
Reid

I buy cases from this place. Great variety and resonable delivery charges.

Here is another one:

http://aerolyte.com.au/ - very similar type of company to Malcom's suggestion.

In my opinion, steer clear of JMI cases. Overpriced and not worth the money, despite how much the yanks rave about them.
