This idea is probably too simple. There has to be something I'm not thinking of.
I haven't noticed a lot of photographs (if any now that I think about it) of DSOs that have been taken using a barlow or PowerMate, or anything else like that.
I want to try and image something like the Ring Nebulae using a barlow. Obviously tracking would have to be dead on and the exposures would need to be long (5 minutes, 10 minutes).
I'm still learning and am curious if I could expect success.
