Pointer Light

What sort of torch can I use as a pointer to show what I'm looking at
eg mag light, dolphin torch, lazer pointer

yeah....If I wanna show the missus what were looking at I use the dolphin..

yeah they all will work, but dont go shining your mag light around on a observing night or you'll get told off... it'll wreck your night vision

I've heard that a laser pointer works well. Just don't look directly at it, or point it at anyone or....... L.

Green laser pointers are the best, no doubt about it. They cost $99 at andrews right now for the 5mw version.

Best things.. people go "WOW" when they see them in action. Worth every penny.
