Can anyone give advice on this scope? What should I pay? Pros/cons?

l have seen different reviews with contrasting opinions in build quality.
Apparently the optical performance is reasonably good from what l have read although no first hand knowledge.
Andrews seem to have some of the best prices on most things so try them.
l also think the thread on the visual back is not standard 52mm so finding accessories may be difficult although l might be corrected on this.

Tkx Mick, I am in Montrose near Lilydale. I have seen a demo model for $1499 . Is this a good price? BTW Stephen Hawking is "the person with whom I would most like to have dinner".

that price sounds pretty good although keep in mind that the eq5 mount has a max capacity of only 10kg so if you intend to load a guide scope later on it will be at max payload.

If you but it, I would love to see a review. I haven't seen a review by anyone that has actually used one of these scopes.
