Lightbulb eyepiece

I have resently restarted my passion with astronomy,I have a meade 10"LX200GPS SCTand am in two minds on my low power eyepiece.
i am considering televue 41mm panoptic or 55mm plossle both will give me 1.1 degree's but one is twise the price, is the panoptic worth the extra? or are there alternatives that come close in quality. Iwould rather own 3 or 4 good quality eyepieces than a box of cheap poor quality eyepieces, for my medium range Intend to get nagler 17mm & 13mm.

any input would be appreciated.

Check out this chart here to see if you will get vignetting with the 41 panoptic (you probably will, check green lines) and them maybe consider one of these as well

42mm LVW is well worth considering also at the wide tfov end. Try MyAstroshop.

... and Pentax XWs of course, across the full range at f/10.
