Hi Folks,
Anyone had a chance to purchase and use the 585 MC Pro? Just curious as I have seen a fair few images on the net that look good but at this stage thinking local images. With the view to purchase.

Paul, you should be good if the sensor and pixel size works for your rig. It’s basically a 4K next-gen 290. As with the other recent Sony sensors, the lack of amp glow is a decent plus.

The sensor is also great for planetary imaging fwiw.

Thanks Dunk, Yep all purchased and just waiting for it to show, going to stick it on my second rig, Sharpstar 76EDPH with flattener!
