HyPer7,
Which song from Rodriguez is your quote from?
I thought I knew most of his work.

So are you guys saying that I have to remove the flashing 10" neon ring from the rear end of my scope tube??

Seems like such a waste, given that it was made for a 10" subwoofer and fits a 10" mirror just as perfectly, it's even made to run on 12 volts.

Oh well ..the things we do .....

Next thing you'll be telling me that I can't bring the "blank" 10" scope tube that I turned into a bass cannon by adding two 600 watt active sub-drivers!!!

Cold Fact!
It is a great album isn't it.
I rate it in my top 10 favorite records.
I wonder (har har) why no-one has done any cover versions. The songs relate as much to today as they did back then.

Ok here's a request for assistance.

Seeing as Jeanette had declined to lend her reflectivity to the protection of my tripod legs, does anyone know where to get adhesive reflective tape? I've tried Bunning, Mitre 10, BOC gas and safety and the local camping store without luck.

If you have some I'd happily buy a meter of it off you.

ps. I'll try to remember to bring "Cold Fact" out with me. Nice mellow music for after a hard night under the stars.

No good at the bike shop, but they suggested car accessories shops.

Winner! Autobarn Red and silver stick on reflector, 50mmX600mm about 9 bucks. Sweet!

OK, I admit, I haven't been to a star party (yet ), but don't you need light for the reflectors to work? Or do you reckon there will be enough red light around for the reflectors to have effect.

It was suggested I bring along some black tape to cover it. Just in case.

By the way, I wasn't looking for an excuse to buy another jacket, I wouldn't part it. It is an Ansett original and guaranteed Anti-static so I won't blow up any aeroplanes when refueling.

I don't think there should be too many aeroplanes needing refueling at Astrofest - I might be wrong .
If it's warm - Wear It

Maybe I should change that to not blowing up astronomers when they're refueling with alcohol.

We will be in the middle of 3 meteor showers during that weekend. A decent fireball will light up the landscape therefore my jacket as well.
