Modification to Canon 6D

I have a Canon 6D that I want to have modified for Astrophotography and I was after some advice on who might be the best to do the modifications. I'm located in Queensland Australia and am after any suggestions either locally or overseas.regards

I believe these guys in Melbourne do mods, I've not used them but they've been mentioned on the forum here previously:

There is also a camera service place in the Sydney CBD that does filter mods, and there is a company in South Korea that does both full spectrum (filter removal) mods and cold finger cooling. Not sure if the 6D can be cooled as easily as say a 450D but its worth checking.

I did a search here and found it:

Whilton Camera, 251 Elizabeth Street. They have a website. Give them a call. I think they were doing fiter removals fir $150 plus shipping. No shipping if you hand it to them over the counter.

The filter you want removed is the blue cast filter that is usually behind the anti-allasing filter at the front.in most Canons. You can replace the stock filter with clear glass if you wish.
