Another noob from Tassie

Hey guys

Just checking in, I'm originally from Greenwich - very appropriate for an amateur astronomer LOL.
I did have a homebrew 8½" reflector, but it didn't make it to Oz, I do have a 3" refractor, equatorially mounted, which I also built myself apart from the objective.
I live in a rural area in Tassie, best night skies I have ever seen

Looking forward to learning heaps, catchya

Welcome! What area of Tassie? I'm in the Huon Valley, but up a few 100m on a ridge so thankfully away from most of the river fog!

Dobsonian - brings a smile to my face ('tis my surname after all)
When I built my reflector, the dob mount was unheard of - shows my vintage, eh?
I certainly will have a browse.
