Frontier optics have been selling WO gear for as long as I've been aware of them. Unfortunately they do not have either a product or price list on their website, which will lose them many customers IMO. WO is new to Andrews AFAIK. Competition should be a good thing. I wonder if anything is going to come of Andrews selling televue EPs.

UWAN EPs are good for dobs, I believe. Not cheap, but I think the prices listed are not right for the shorter FLs.

I spoke to Lee Andrews 2 weeks ago and he said the Televue products have been knocked on the head....someone else can confirm this if they want.

Matthew Lovell and his team at “Telescopes & Astronomy” also have a Williams Optics presence on their website at:

http://www.telescopes-astronomy.com.au/pricelists.htm

although it is "still under construction" according to that page.

WO has some nice gear and it is going to benefit the amateur astronomy community to have all these local suppliers.

Cheers

Dennis

I have had the pleasure of buying a WO crayford focuser for SCT from Frontier Optics. Daniel Berringer is a great bloke, and did me a great price. He even hand delivered to my door, for free!

Daniel will email a reply to any price request within 24 hours, and could not be any more helpful. He gets my vote for any WO purchases (any commission gratefully received, Daniel )
