This is a strangely neglected galaxy in Fornax. It's a struggle to find any amateur images of it at all and it's actually quite large and bright. Perhaps everyone just automatically goes to the Fornax cluster.
Well if I didn't know better I would have thought that was NGC 7552 in Grus, lower right in THIS image. Remarkable similarity, same size, same magnitude, they could be twins
What a lovely looking shot of this galaxy. I will add that to my list. I am intending to also do NGC 1097 which is another barred spiral in that group.

Thanks Mike. Yes you are right - very similar to NGC 7552. NGC 1097 looks much the same too.
