But don't forget to follow the link to the picture gallery and see where this sits.
To drool just doesn't quite describe it

Seriously that is one amazing amateur setup.

Sorry to be a "glass half empty" type, but people who floodlight trees should be taken away and killed.

If you look at his other gallery of their 'home', you can see that their modest 3 storey stone observatory with 40 tonnes of footings with a 24"RCOS and the El Capitan AP mount with a Tak on the side, is just a comparative equivalent for the average bloke as a 6x4 tin shed with a rolloff and an EQ5 and ED80 !

The really nice thing about this is that they (father and 19yo son) are using it in a professional manner and seemingly very frequently, in fact it looks like they had a significant hand in assembling the whole system.
I am sure if we had the opportunity, and you could involve your teenage son in high level amateur astronomy (asteroid curves and photometric analysis) with you, you would love to do the same.
That would have to be worth a large slice of anyone's fortune.

Someone worked hard to get all that I suspect, good luck to them and may they be an inspiration to others.
