Spying on the goddess meet up.

Here is a 8 second exp of last nights conjunction of Venus and M45,using a ED scope on a EQ mount, which had tracking and reasonably well PA.

I also collected many 3 sec exposures, which with some stacking and PP may yield a better image.Hope this may be of interest-thanks for looking,Chris

Thanks Liz,I am hoping the stacking an PP of the 3 second data might yield more stars.I can do the stacking bit-but still figuring out PP.

Yes,was surprised they had those images on news-bit disappointed they did not use the high res one I sent in.Those they showed were low res to choose from-stil,they must liked them,Burnsy sent an email of thanks.I too have only sent a couple of images in to him, this was the third. So might give it a miss for a while-its a bit embarrassing going down the street shopping, and everyone bailing me up asking about these images and wanting a run down on how it all works, etc etc

Going,by the lack of feed back on this telescope image and others with telescope images,it appears the wider field images are more appealing to astronomers and general public.

I'll be watching Burnsy tonight and look forward to seeing your images=cheers Chris
